New Apple Arcade games available now, and Angry Birds Bounce and more coming soon

Once more sporadic in its game debuts, Apple Arcade has gotten into a rhythm of adding a batch of new games every single month.

June’s new releases just arrived today, and they include:

Alongside the launches, Apple has announced four additional titles that will be released on Thursday, July 3 for all Arcade subscribers.

The highlight of the upcoming releases is a brand new Angry Birds title that’s exclusive to Apple Arcade.

Angry Birds Bounce seeks to tap into the nostalgia of the franchise but with a fresh mechanic.

Angry Birds Bounce is a new take on one of the most iconic mobile game series of all time with over 5 billion lifetime downloads. The new game blends Angry Birds’ classic slingshot gameplay with arcade-style brick-breaker mechanics, creating an all-new adventure full of chaotic charm and action-packed fun.

“Angry Birds Bounce reinvents the classic Angry Birds formula with a vertical twist, refreshing the gameplay while staying true to the brand’s DNA,” said Bryan Cook, Angry Birds Bounce game lead at Rovio.

Joining Angry Birds Bounce, Apple Arcade will add the following games in July:

It’s a smaller release slate than usual, but with some popular titles and franchises to make up for that.

Apple Arcade is available as a standalone service for $6.99/month or included in the Apple One bundle. It includes access to over 200 games with no ads or in-app purchases.
