Apple Music drops full set of WWDC 2025 playlists

Following the release of the WWDC25 Hello playlist on Apple Music last week, Apple has just released three more sets to get you in the mood for WWDC week. And just like everything else WWDC25, the aesthetic seems anything but accidental.

Each playlist cover uses minimalist iconography that might double as a subtle preview of Apple’s upcoming system-wide UI overhaul. A translucent power button, a glowing sun, and a frosted piano key motif, each one evoking the aesthetics we might see on iOS 26 and beyond.

the three new playlists feature 20 songs and are between one hour and one hour and a half long.

WWDC25 Power Up is the most high-octane of the bunch. With tracks from ROSÉ & Bruno Mars, Charli XCX, Lady Gaga, and Lorde, it leans into synth, stomp, and summer festival adrenaline.

WWDC25 Sunshine is rooted in Afrobeats, dancehall, and island soul, featuring Wizkid, Tems, Oxlade, Fireboy DML, and more.

WWDC25 Jazz, meanwhile, runs satisfyingly long. With standout cuts by BADBADNOTGOOD, Robert Glasper, Amanda Whiting, and Arooj Aftab, this would be my playlist for the inevitable late-night code sessions up ahead.
